    Post-Doctorate , History of the Jewish People , 20062007

    The paper "Traditions of Israelite Descent Among Certain Muslim Groups in India" that I produced as a result of my research at Tel Aviv University, I presented it at the 19th annual conference of the Midwest Jewish Studies Association in Chicago on 21st October 2007. It is now expected in the Spring 2009 issue of Purdue University's Jewish Studies Journal SHOFAR.

    It was followed by a lecture tour of the US during which I spoke on a number of topics related to my researches at the Rosenthal Centre of Judaic Studies, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH; Congregation Mickve Israel, Savannah, GA; Valley Beth Shalom, Encino, Los Angeles and Limmud: A Community Day of Learning organised by the Agency for Jewish Education in La Jolla, San Diego, CA.

    My US lecture tour was preceded by my lectures in Jerusalem and at the universities of Tel Aviv and Haifa, during my post-doctoral tenure at the Graduate School of Historical Studies, Tel Aviv University
