  I'm working on an MHRD funded project as part of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology with the thrust area being Adaptation and deployment of open source simulation packages equivalent to MATLAB, ORCAD etc. I'm currently working in areas within Control Systems such as Digital Control and State Estimation with Scilab being my primary tool. This part of the project is managed by Prof. Mani Bhushan, Prof. Madhu Belur and Prof. Kannan Moudgalya.

  As a Student Secretary, and consequently, a member of the coveted core committee of the VJTI Social Group, I managed the activities and undertakings of the VJTI Alumni Association. My responsibilities involved organizing the annual Alumni Meet (2007) and the senior batch farewell, Nirop (2008) with the production of the annual commemorative, Odyssey (2008). Earlier work includes having established the digital database of the Alumni Association of the 120 year old institute, running membership/registration drives, overseeing the establishment of the official website and liaising between the alumni and the institute.

  Technovanza is VJTI’s Annual National Level Technical festival. It is the second largest festival of its kind in the state having been held with a budget of over Rs. 20 lakh (2 million) and host to thousands of visitors. As the Resources Coordinator, part of the festival core committee, I managed the delivery, storage, distribution, utilization and return of all resources across all events before, during and after the 3 day festival- a logistical challenge that ensured that all event organizers had all the resources required at their disposal at the right time.
