Zahid H Javali’s Summary
I have been a journalist for the last 13 years and done just about everything under the publication sun. From working in a weekly tabloid to a monthly magazine to a fortnightly tourist guide to a quarterly investment journal to a daily newspaper, it's been one long joyride.
After being the City Editor of MiD DAY, a daily tabloid in Bangalore, I now run Write Wing Media that is into custom publishing coffeetable books, magazines, brochures, newsletters, and syndicating content.
That aside, I also freelance as editor/writer/photographer for publications in India, US and Singapore. I am Consulting Editor for Travel & Shop, a fortnightly tourist guide in Bangalore besides working for Workforce Management, America's award-winning magazine read by CEOs and CFOs the world over. Not to mention, SilverKris, the inflight magazine of Singapore Airlines.
I also regularly contribute to Worldstart Inc on digital photography and computers besides being a regular movie columnist for Windows & Aisles, the in-flight magazine of Paramount Airways.
I also contribute technology/gadgets pieces to The Man magazine (Malayala Manorama Group) and Mint, the business newspaper of The Wall Street Journal. That apart, I do CEO profiles of tech companies for LIVE IT, a tech magazine brought out by the Delhi Press Group (Caravan, Alive, Women's Era).
