2004 - A writer & an ideator
I got an opportunity to work with a leading Herbal Pharmaceutical company as the Editor of their CSR oriented magazine targeted to veterinarians across India.
Circulation when I took over - 6,500 copies, circulation when I handed it over to the next person, circulation 9,000 copies with an increase in number of youngsters reading it.
Innovation - Started an interactive column exclusively for veterinary students in 31 colleges across India
Result - The magazine started getting "accepted" by the young veterinarians too.
2006 - Corporate Trainer & a quick learner
Started my stint in corporate with one of the oldest training firms in Bangalore, India. Caught the ropes from a writer to a speaker quickly. Trained in around 10 different organizations on aspects related to soft skills and behaviorial skills. Worked with the said organization for close to 2 years.
Innovation - Related a lot of skills related subjects to behavioral one too, thereby bringing out a deeper change in perspectives. For example: Connecting Steven Covey's "COI-COC" concept to Presentation Skills.
Result - Average PFO ratings of 4.6/5 from various organizations with excellent consistency

My job description entailed bringing out the best-of-the-class, informative and educative magazine for the benefit of the readers. Apart from its readership in India, the magazine was also popular in East Asia with readers from countries like Srilanka, Burma, Nepal, Bhutan and some South East Asian nations like Malaysia and Hongkong.
My media relations helped me hone my writting skills and also played a very important role in shaping and fine tuning my public relation skills.
One of the key responsibilities that I took up as a personal initiative was assisiting the marketing department conceptualize advertisements and help them in writing ad copies
