Kaustuv currently heads the Mobile Phones and MFN Theme Marketing in Nokia India. Prior to this he was responsible for Operator, Rural and Nokia branded retail marketing in Nokia India Pvt Ltd. Prior to joining Nokia he was with GE Corporate as part of the global Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP).
Kaustuv has 10 years of work experience of which the past 7 years have been in marketing and the first 3 in channel management. Prior to joining GE he was Head Marketing of the Access Business Unit, a $250m business unit in Tata Teleservices (Tata Indicom). He was responsible for the marketing management of Pre-paid fixed wireless phones, Rural mobile and FWT, Calling cards, PCOs and a multi application POS device named Parsec. Tata Indicom's CSAT scores for Rural telephony and PCOs moved from being the lowest across telecom companies in 2004 to the # 1 position in 2007. He has been recognised by the Tata Group HR as a Tata Group Young Manager Leader in 2006.
