Neerav Sood’s Summary

As the Assistant Product Manager my responsibilities included developing marketing insights into new markets by conducting and analyzing market research. I was assisted in data collection by a five member team. The data analysis was utilized to identify market segments, target customers and potential partners in two cosmopolitan cities Delhi & Mumbai. Also competitor analysis was carried out to improvise the company’s marketing strategies. Also a number of retailers and wholesalers were identified to form the supply chain of the company in the aforementioned cities.

I was also appointed as a Mentor and Trainer of new trainees who joined the organization and was responsible for their on-the-job training which included target achievement techniques, customer relationship management and consumer training.

• Worked with senior management to set up a strategic path for the company to progress on in the years to come.
• Carried out a pan industry analysis of the Indian real estate sector
• Also carried out the financial analysis of the firm
• Suggested the various ways in which the firm could gain competitive advantage in the future both form the long and short term perspective.


Short Term goals include working in corporate world for a few years before moving onto Strategic Consultancy in the same sector.

Attended the Initial Training Program at Medicamen Organics Limited, Delhi and was awarded the Top Achiever’s Award during the Initial Training Program in a batch of more than 50 trainees.

Finalist in Dell Social Innovation Competition held in 2008 as a worldwide contest for idea submission of converting solar energy to electricity without use of solar cells.

Was recognized among the top 50 contestants in the "THINK SIMPLE CONTEST" – a National level contest organized by Phillips in 2007.

Won First Prize in Creative Writing.

Won many prizes in various Quiz Competitions.

In college I was selected to deliver a presentation to the WHO representatives about the spread and prevention of AIDS in India.

Founder & Convener of the management fest committee in Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics.

Appointed to the Placement Committee 2004-2006 of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi.
